As mentioned in the previous post While the children are away the mommy will save, not only did I find items for my teen daughter's back to school thrift trunk show but items for Little Pie, still in elementary school. Items that fit Little Pie are a bit harder to find than adults and infant/toddlers. But, here's a few pieces revealing nice very things can be found.
Again, since the girls are away, I can preview a few items.
The dress on the left is My Michelle for $2. It was missing the sash so I added the green scarf for $1. The dress to the right was an extraordinary find. Flora and Henri for $4. It too was missing the sash so I added ribbon and sewed a few buttons on it to liven it up. This dress, in perfect condition, with a soft high thread count fabric probably retailed over $150.
This sweet hand-made dress was found in the apron section for $1.50.
This darling skirt from Next, a UK Company, was $3.
A NEW dress from Old Navy, $4. (Or as Piper used to call it, "Old Gravy".)
As with Petite Poe, many short and long sleeve t-shirts supplement, Little Pi's back to school items, most bought for $1-$3, all in pristine, if not new, condition.

I love the "My Michelle" dress! You have some lucky little ladies. Just the inspiration I needed to do a little thrift store shopping for myself.

I want to go to YOUR thrift stores! You are finding awesome deals! Ours bump up the price on anything remotely 'name brand' and they are almost always past my flinch point or stained.
